Our purpose is to spread whistles throughout WA to help communities get LOUD and protect themselves against ICE.Visit our Linktree to find your local communities and events, as well as resources like printable zines, flyers, and whistle files!#BlowTheWhistleOnICE
Across the country, communities have been using whistles to help keep each other safe. When ICE agents are spotted, the whistles ring out: three short chirps means ICE is nearby, or three long whistles if someone is being abducted. The sound brings neighbors out of their homes to witness and document the incident. Allies gather. Reports are made to local immigrant rights groups.ICE kidnappings no longer happen quietly and it’s working. Early warnings create a time window for at-risk neighbors to seek safety. It also allows allies to come outside and document the scene and gather needed info to report to immigrant rights groups.Cities across the nation have proven that whistles work. We can too.

It doesn’t take much to help keep your community safe - a whistle, a few deep breaths, and the decision to care out loud.
Code 1 = Quick, short bursts
Code 2 = Long, continuous whistle
Step outside if it’s safe, document, record, blow your whistle, and make sure no one is alone.
